The Deakin University, Australia invites applications from outstanding early career researchers for the Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (DUPRF) 2026. The Fellowship aims to support and develop future research leaders in Deakin’s five key research strengths. Successful applicants will receive up to three years of salary support, along with a one-time research grant of $15,000 to cover direct project costs.
Eligibility
Applicants must have been awarded a PhD on or after 1 January 2022 or, together with allowable career interruptions, have an award of PhD date that would be commensurate with a PhD Award Date of 1 January 2022.
Funding amount
The Fellowship offers up to 3 years of salary, based on your experience, from Level A, Step 6 to the top of Level B. International fellows must meet visa rules for the third year.
Fellows also get a one-time research grant of $15,000 for project costs like equipment, materials, or approved travel.
